School. Where you will find Jared and I 5 days of the week. I am the second grade teacher with 7 students, 5 girls and two boys. Jared is the principal of the school, taking care of the heavier matters such as tuition, field trip planning, punishment, some tutoring and teaching when needed. The school building is about a 5 minute walk from our house and the children are often coming to school around 7:45 the same time we are. We start the day at 8 am with staff devotions and then have chapel with the kids and start the days studies. We are teaching Christian Light in math, Language Arts, and reading. The Caribbean subjects I have to make up on my own as there is no curriculum to go by. So I am trying to come up with creative ways to teach science and social studies about a country I know nothing about! The days ends at 2:30 when the kids leave. And before we know it we find ourselves walking the road the next morning. We appreciate your prayers.
